Install Instructions for Visual C++ Runtime

Administrator rights are required to install.

Ask your IT department to make you an administrator on your computer, which will enable you to install programs.
If this is your personal computer you are likely already an administrator.

Visual C++ Runtime Installer (All-In-One) is a single batch file installer that includes all Visual C++ libraries built in. For vendors page and video guide (click here)

Run Package

  • Run Visual C++ Runtime installation process by double clicking the VisualCpp56.exe file once it is downloaded.
    If Windows Defender blocks the install, please click on "More info" and then "Run anyway":

Install Instructions

  • STEP 1

    The installation process often starts with the following screen:



    We recommend that you restart your computer by Pressing Y for Yes and then run this installation again.

  • STEP 2
    Follow the install instructions after the restart to complete the process.
